PIZZA ubiquitous delivery

A popular pizza fast food chain has developed features that allow customers to order pizza using virtually any computing device.

From smart TVs to smartphones, from tablets to smartwatches, just log on to Domino’s website and order your pizza. In fact, you can even do this on Twitter. If you think this is cool, just think that the next step the pizza company is planning could become one of the greatest digital transformation examples in retail: to do this all via voice command!

Nowadays the buzz words of the information industry are Digital Transformation, blockchain and the citizen developer. The latter being a non-IT user who creates business applications with low code development platforms of declarative application software through graphical user interfaces and configurations.

Success and failure of the development of business users within an organization depends not only on the software tool deployed, but also on the needs and requirements of the end user, who should be the starting point of research into better usability and learnability of the software environment.

The AUTOMOBILE "big brother"

Putting the customer experience to the forefront of their strategies, an automaker is doing everything to understand their customers’ behavior.

Now all customers have a unique ID, an ID that they can connect to a powerful central CRM. The objective is to know the expectations of customers at each point of contact, promoting real-time segmentation and allowing predictive intelligence to be used to coordinate actions in which, for example, only consumers who are really interested in buying a car are impacted, increasing the conversion rate.

Digital transformation is the  transformation of business and organizational activities, processes, competencies and models to fully leverage the changes and opportunities of a mix of digital technologies and their accelerating impact across society in a strategic and prioritized way, with present and future shifts in mind.

Taking a step back and holistically looking at and questioning the many ‘digital’ changes and initiatives at several levels within various departments across the extended organization is key for digital transformation (DX) success.

The success of the integration and convergence of technologies and of technologies as such depends on collaboration in diversity and the empowerment and involvement of people across the board.

Disruption in the end is a shift in power in relationships (Charlene Li)

SUPPLY CHAIN with Smart Glasses

Although stock management and supply chain is already quite automated and easy to operate, you still need to use manual scanners, paper and pen to get the process done properly.

After developing applications for smart glasses with Ricoh and Ubimax, operators no longer need to use their hands as much. The glasses read bar codes, provide information and allow operators to accomplish their tasks more assertively and make fewer errors. This is augmented reality to manage supply chain with smart glasses.
